Youth and young adults set to transition from government care will be able to stay in their living arrangements for up to one additional year as the Province extends COVID-19 emergency measures.

Families in Port Coquitlam will soon have access to 45 new licensed child care spaces at a new affordable housing complex, as part of the Province’s commitment to increasing access to quality, affordable child care through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.  

Families in Kitimat will soon have access to 60 new licensed child care spaces as part of the Province’s ongoing commitment to increasing child care through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.  

Families in Prince George and Valemount will soon have access to 145 new licensed child care spaces as part of the Province’s ongoing commitment to increasing child care through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Families in Victoria will soon have access to 133 new licensed child care spaces as part of the Province’s ongoing commitment to increasing child care through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.  

Families in Comox will have access to 16 new licensed child care spaces as part of the Province’s ongoing commitment to increasing child care through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.  

Thousands of families in 34 B.C. communities will soon have access to quality, licensed child care, as the Province marks a new milestone in its Childcare BC plan.
