The Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) has filed its response to the action filed by the public guardian and trustee (PGT) in the matter involving the former Kelowna social worker accused of alleged financial improprieties involving vulnerable children and youth.

Katrine Conroy, Minister of Children and Family Development issued the following statement in response to the representative for children and youth's Dec. 10, 2018, investigative report:

The Government of British Columbia is reminding licensed child care providers that they have until Dec. 31, 2018 to apply for retroactive wage enhancements for their frontline staff.
