Students, families and staff are one step closer to a replacement for Carson Elementary School.

Students and families in the community of Wonowon will soon have access to a more modern and improved elementary school.

Students at Isabella Dicken Elementary are returning to an expanded and improved school now that an 80-seat addition is complete.

Francophone families in Pemberton will have a new school for K-12 students and a permanent home for École La Vallée to support existing and forecast enrolment growth.

Rachna Singh, Minister of Education and Child Care, has released the following statement regarding the first day of school: 

Students and staff in Coquitlam are starting the school year in a new school that is helping address enrolment growth in one of B.C.’s fast-growing communities.

An addition at École K.B. Woodward is now complete, providing a more modern learning experience for students, one of the many investments being made in Surrey schools.

Early childhood professionals educated in languages other than English will have reduced costs and more support to become certified to work in British Columbia’s child care sector, as a result of financial support to translate educational documents into English.  

Three dozen children and their families in Qualicum Beach now have access to the recently opened Into the Woods Early Learning Child Care Studio.
