Education Minister Peter Fassbender issued the following statement today:

A proposed new project office in the Vancouver school district will help speed up the delivery of school seismic projects aimed at keeping students and staff safe in the event of an earthquake.

Early in the summer, the parties met for exploratory discussions with Mr. Justice Stephen Kelleher.

Two more school districts and more than 600 support staff workers have recently ratified new agreements under the B.C. government's 2014 Economic Stability Mandate.

More than four hundred support staff workers from two school districts have recently ratified new agreements, bringing the total to eight now ratified under the B.C. government's 2014 Economic Stability Mandate.
