Silver Creek elementary in the North Okanagan-Shuswap School District will continue to serve the community of Silver Creek thanks to a $213,353 investment under the Rural Education Enhancement Fund (REEF).

Government is continuing to support rural communities with a $733,523 investment under the Rural Education Enhancement Fund (REEF) to help the Okanagan Skaha School District keep Trout Creek elementary in Trout Creek and West Bench elementary in West Bench open.

Cherryville elementary in the Vernon School District will continue to serve the community of Cherryville thanks to a $443,320 investment under the Rural Education Enhancement Fund (REEF).

Government is continuing to support rural communities with a $410,426 investment under the Rural Education Enhancement Fund (REEF) to help the Okanagan Similkameen School District keep Osoyoos secondary in Osoyoos open.

Government is continuing to support rural communities with a $636,976 investment under the Rural Education Enhancement Fund (REEF) to help the Quesnel School District keep Parkland elementary in Ten Mile Lake and Kersley elementary in Kersley open.

The Government of B.C. and the Central Okanagan School District have partnered to invest $36.1 million for a brand new Okanagan Mission Junior Middle school for students in the fast growing neighbourhood of Okanagan Mission.

The new $19.7-million Crosstown Elementary school officially opened today, creating more classroom space for the rapidly growing city centre and providing students with a unique urban learning environment. 

Students throughout the province, even those living in the most isolated areas, now have access to high-speed Internet in the classroom to support their learning and development as the Next Generation Network (NGN) nears completion.

The new joint executive Surrey project board has approved the first priority project to be expedited in Surrey – a new Clayton-area elementary school – delivering on its commitment to create 5,200 new student seats.
