Students in the Central Okanagan School District will benefit from $3.8 million in provincial funding for a school upgrade project, classroom supplies and nine new school buses, MLA Steve Thomson announced on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier.

Students at the Vernon School District will benefit from almost $1.6 million in provincial funding for a school upgrade project, classroom supplies and a new school bus, MLA Eric Foster announced on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier.

Students in the Southeast Kootenay School District will benefit from $939,199 in provincial funding for school upgrade projects and classroom supplies, MLA Bill Bennett announced on behalf of Education Minister Mike Bernier.

The B.C. government and the Prince George School District are taking action to improve student safety and support student learning by investing $44.3 million to replace the 56-year-old Kelly Road Secondary school.
