The world is changing and B.C. students need to be ready to adapt to the careers of tomorrow. Students in the North Vancouver and West Vancouver school districts will be prepared thanks to provincial funding awarded to the districts, helping to connect kids with opportunities in skilled trades and tech training. 

Students in the Vancouver School District are connecting with skills and technology training development thanks to a $17,500 grant to the district from the Province’s Shoulder Tappers Program.

More than 60 teachers from the Lower Mainland gathered at the Microsoft Centre of Excellence in downtown Vancouver to learn basic coding techniques from some of the best instructors in the industry – all to make sure B.C. students have the skills they need to succeed in today’s changing world.
