International students studying in B.C. are enriching the province’s classrooms, homes and communities while they benefit from a world class education system. 

Nobody is going to throw a monkey wrench in Jacob McEwen’s future plans. Since Jacob was a young boy he has always had a passion for fixing things. His keen sense of determination and interest in how things work has led him down the path towards becoming a heavy duty mechanic.

The Government of British Columbia is providing $702,000 to the Vancouver school district to repair, upgrade and improve five of its facilities to make sure students, teachers and staff have comfortable and refreshed places to learn and work.

 Students, teachers and staff at Fort St. James Secondary school in the Nechako Lakes school district will benefit from $223,300 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.          

Students, teachers and staff at École Côte Du Soleil in the Conseil Scolaire Francophone school district will benefit from $151,540 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.

Students, teachers and staff at Nisga’a Elementary Secondary school in the Nisga’a school district will benefit from $110,157 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.

Students, teachers and staff at Dease Lake school in the Stikine school district will benefit from $110,160 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.
