More people are choosing to pursue studies in early childhood education, which is good news for families, communities, children and B.C.’s economy.

Students throughout the province soon will have more opportunities and resources at their fingertips to help them train for careers after graduation.

Students in the Sunshine Coast School District will be prepared thanks to $22,500 in provincial funding awarded to the district, helping to connect kids with opportunities in skilled trades and tech training. 

The Government of British Columbia is providing $702,000 to the Vancouver school district to repair, upgrade and improve five of its facilities to make sure students, teachers and staff have comfortable and refreshed places to learn and work.

Students, teachers and staff at Langdale Elementary school in the Sunshine Coast school district will benefit from $497,500 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.
