A B.C. environmental assessment certificate has been issued for the Ksi Lisims LNG project, following a joint decision by provincial ministers.

The ministers of Environment and Parks, Tamara Davidson, and Mining and Critical Minerals (MCM), Jagrup Brar, have issued a consent order to Mount Polley Mining Corporation for a material alteration to the Mount Polley Mine to expand its Springer Pit.

Pipi7iyekw/Joffre Lakes Park will be temporarily closed to recreational visitors from Sept. 2 to Oct. 3, 2025, marking the final temporary closure for the park this year.
