People experiencing homelessness in the Fraser Valley, including people living with complex mental-health and addiction challenges and people living in temporary housing facilities, will get help as two supportive housing sites open to residents in Mission and Maple Ridge.

People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Prince George will soon have more safe and secure housing options as approximately 100 supportive homes and complex-care housing (CCH) units are on the way.

The Province, through BC Housing, is working with local partners on a proposal to create new supportive and complex-care housing for people experiencing homelessness in North Vancouver.

The Province and the City of Victoria have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that formalizes their commitment to work together to end current homeless encampments and help prevent encampments in the future.

The Province is partnering with the Phoenix Drug and Alcohol Recovery and Education Society on a proposal to provide 50 additional supportive homes and a 40-bed shelter for people experiencing homelessness in Chilliwack.

The Province is working in partnership to deliver new affordable rental homes for people with low to moderate incomes in Vernon and Oliver.
