As part of work underway to deliver more homes for people faster, the Province has introduced new legislation to reduce construction delays and streamline processes to fund key services, infrastructure and amenities for growing communities.

The Province and the Northwest BC Resource Benefits Alliance (RBA) are working together to ensure the region’s economic development contributes to building strong, sustainable communities and delivers good-paying jobs for residents.

People in northern B.C. will benefit from stronger community services as a result of approximately $4 million from the Northern Healthy Communities Fund (NHCF).

Residents of Greenwood will have a restored fish habitat at Lind Creek after the removal of Lind Creek Dam.

People in Rossland will have reliable infrastructure for drinking water, storm drains, and waste disposal for years to come, with funding from the Province supporting improvements to the city’s underground water systems.
