Nearly 250 organizations providing public safety and environmental programming for British Columbians are getting support from the Government of British Columbia’s Community Gaming Grants program.

People will soon have access to safe, affordable housing thanks to a provincewide program to help municipalities tackle homelessness. The program will provide hundreds of new modular housing units in communities from Vancouver to Surrey to Smithers, Premier John Horgan announced today.

The Province is providing additional housing and support for individuals who have been homeless or are at risk of homelessness with the purchase and renovation of the Kelowna Good Night Inn, located at 2639 Highway 97 North.
