A preferred proponent has been selected for the Emily Carr University of Art + Design campus redevelopment project, marking an important step toward a new home for the university at Great Northern Way.

Premier Christy Clark departs today on the India Trade Mission, and will be joined by Minister of Advanced Education Amrik Virk.

As part of the BC Jobs Plan's commitment to expand international trade and investment, Premier Christy Clark will lead her sixth international trade mission - this time to India.

A community-based approach to education and training will enable Aboriginal learners in the Lower Mainland to access training that will help prepare them for further education, and develop skills for careers in the trades.

With the technology hub in B.C. growing rapidly, students and industry leaders conveyed their skills training needs at a roundtable discussion with the Minister of Advanced Education and the Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens' Services.

Moving Emily Carr University of Art + Design to its new home at the Great Northern Way Campus took a major step forward today with the release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) to the three short-listed proponents preparing submissions to deliver the project.
