Camosun College students will soon have access to on-campus student housing for the first time with funding approved for a new 423-bed student housing project at the Lansdowne campus.

More student housing is coming to Simon Fraser University (SFU) with the announcement of a 445-bed student housing project to be built at SFU’s Burnaby campus.

Okanagan College Penticton students will soon have access to affordable, on-campus housing for the first time with funding approved for a 101-bed student-housing project.  

Students at Capilano University’s (CapU) new Squamish campus will have access to affordable on-campus student housing for the campus’s first student intake in fall 2024.

Students at Douglas College will soon have access to affordable on-campus housing for the first time as construction starts on one of the Province’s largest capital investments in student housing.

The Province is taking action to eliminate exploitive practices and improve the quality of post-secondary education by strengthening quality standards and bringing in new safeguards for international students in B.C.

More than 3,000 people between 16 and 29 in B.C. will benefit during the next two years from skills training and employment as part of a collaborative effort of the governments of British Columbia and Canada.
