Students studying at Vancouver Island University’s (VIU) Nanaimo campus will have access to more on-campus housing beds and a new dining hall, with construction underway.

Selkirk College students now have access to new on-campus housing at Castlegar and Nelson-Silver King campuses.

The Province is moving forward with new guidelines to protect students and reduce the risks and harms of toxic-drug poisonings.

Okanagan College (OC) students now have access to more on-campus housing with the opening of new student housing at the Vernon and Kelowna campuses, reducing housing pressures in both communities and making it easier for students to focus on their studies.

The largest provincial investment in on-campus student housing will lead to more than 1,500 new post-secondary beds on the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus, as the Province continues to build homes for students at a record pace.

Camosun College students will soon have access to on-campus student housing for the first time with funding approved for a new 423-bed student housing project at the Lansdowne campus.  

The Province is strengthening supports to ensure the highest quality education for international post-secondary students.

More student housing is coming to Simon Fraser University (SFU) with the announcement of a 445-bed student housing project to be built at SFU’s Burnaby campus.
