Starting Feb. 1, 2022, people affected by the flooding in fall 2021 receiving Emergency Support Services will see this support evolve to personalized wraparound services delivered by the Canadian Red Cross.

The Province is immediately providing a $1-million grant to support the Village of Lytton in its economic recovery from the devastation caused by this year’s wildfire.

The Province is teaming up with the Canadian Red Cross to provide eligible residents, who were affected by the 2021 wildfires, with financial assistance to support their interim housing needs during their recovery.

Mike Farnworth, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, has released the following statement about Lytton’s wildfire recovery:
