Community meetings for British Columbia’s first Poverty Reduction Strategy will kick off in Victoria on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017.

British Columbians are invited to celebrate the contributions of Indigenous people with disabilities as government has proclaimed November Indigenous Disability Awareness Month.

On Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, the Province will increase funding by $6 million annually for the BC Healthy Kids Program, bringing the current investment in the program to almost $30 million a year.
