Government is investing more than $3 million in five research projects to find new and innovative ways to help unemployed British Columbians find a meaningful job.

Operated out of the Wachiay Friendship Centre in Courtenay, the social enterprise provides employment opportunities and business training in marketing and sales for the local Aboriginal community.

The Experience the Fraser trail system has been expanded and enhanced throughout the Chilliwack and Mission areas, giving five people valuable work experience that will benefit residents and visitors for years to come.
