The Province is taking action to support respectful and inclusive work environments for workers in British Columbia’s creative sector.

Thousands of people will slither through miles of mud and tackle difficult obstacles this weekend, as they compete in Tough Mudder Whistler, an event partly funded by the Province.

Golf fans can watch rising golf stars putt for glory in Courtenay, Qualicum Beach, Kelowna, Chilliwack, Tsawwassen, Vancouver and Victoria this summer, as B.C. plays host to major national golf events.

As visitors to Vancouver enjoy samples of more than 300 unique craft beers and ciders during the popular ninth-annual Vancouver Craft Beer Week, the Province is providing funding to help promote it, in order to draw more visitors to the region.

Arts and culture organizations in 55 communities around the province are benefiting from a special community resilience grants program.

The Government of British Columbia has underscored its commitment to work with Indigenous peoples in the spirit of respect and collaboration by introducing a set of draft principles designed to guide the daily work of provincial government employees. Don Wright, head of the BC Public Service shared the draft principles with all 27,000 public service employees on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
