Eligible accommodation providers and tourism operators holding tenure and BC Parks permits will now have access to grants to alleviate fixed-cost pressures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

People throughout B.C. will be able to enjoy more arts, culture, sports and community occasions as the Province supports more than 680 events.

The award-winning Indigenous Sport Gallery at the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame will soon be available online, bringing the exciting stories and powerful history of Indigenous athletes, coaches and builders to communities and classrooms throughout the province.

Melanie Mark, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, has released the following statement to recognize B.C.’s first Concussion Awareness Week from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, 2021:

Thousands of children and youth will have the opportunity to be physically active through sport, thanks to the B.C. government’s historic investment in Sport BC.

The Province will begin accepting applications on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, to support B.C.-based events through the new Fairs, Festivals and Events Recovery Fund.
