The Government of Canada, the government of British Columbia and TransLink announced the construction schedule for the next 12 months and the final station names for the Evergreen Line, the newest rapid transit project in Metro Vancouver opening in summer 2016.

The B.C. government and TransLink have signed a contract with Bombardier Transportation to supply 28 SkyTrain cars for the new Evergreen Line as well as the existing Expo and Millennium Lines.

Registration with TReO, the tolling system on the new Port Mann Bridge, has been open only since Sept. 17, but more than 200,000 vehicles have already been registered for electronic tolling accounts and decals.
