March long weekend is a popular time for British Columbians to spend outdoors with friends and family, exploring the vast opportunities that exist in B.C.’s backcountry and trails. A new social media campaign is focused on helping families be fully informed, and prepared for potential risks, so they have fun and return home safely.

The Province's new 10-year transportation plan, B.C. on the Move, prioritizes investments in our transportation network, and highlights our commitment to continued improvements to Highway 1 between Kamloops and the Alberta border.

Next week, thousands of British Columbians will hit the highway to visit friends and relatives or to head to the hills for winter sports.
