Under CleanBC, British Columbia’s climate plan, the Province is rolling out a new heavy-duty vehicle efficiency program that will help lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and will help commercial truck drivers spend less money on fuel.

Claire Trevena, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, has issued the following statement on Fall Bike to Work Weeks:

People who choose new types of transport, like e-scooters, electric unicycles or Segways, to get around will benefit from proposed amendments to the Motor Vehicle Act, introduced on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019.

Move. Commute. Connect. This is B.C.’s new strategy for cleaner, more active transportation, connecting British Columbians to where they need to go.

British Columbians are encouraged to download the Carrot Rewards smartphone app to learn more about how active transportation can make their life and the environment better.
