British Columbians are encouraged to share their experiences with the province’s highways and road services to help the Government of B.C. continually improve transportation for everyone.

As the popularity of electric bikes (e-bikes) continues to grow in North America, the B.C. government has eliminated the PST on e-bikes and e-trikes, as announced in Budget 2021.

The Province is committing $36 million to active transportation infrastructure projects over the next three years, helping to create more liveable and sustainable communities throughout British Columbia.

Corridor improvements that will help ease traffic congestion and support transit are coming to Highway 99.

The Province is planning for future improvements to Highway 1 between 264th Street and Whatcom Road, and public engagement is underway to help determine the full scope of the project.

Construction on the next phase of the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) four-laning through the Village of Chase will start this summer, increasing safety, reliability and efficiency for people living and travelling in the region.
