Students in grades 4 and 5 will learn biking skills and safety awareness at participating schools in Greater Victoria and along the South Coast as the fall session of Everyone Rides Grades 4-5 gets underway.

The City of New Westminster is joining the growing list of B.C. municipalities participating in the Province’s Tall Wood Initiative that allows the construction of 12-storey mass timber buildings.

Building on the success of the first intake of the Mass Timber Demonstration Program, the B.C. government is investing an additional $2 million to open a second intake.

The Province is committing $36 million to active transportation infrastructure projects over the next three years, helping to create more liveable and sustainable communities throughout British Columbia.
