New projects funded by the Province in partnership with coastal communities and Indigenous Peoples will clean as much as 1,000 kilometres of B.C.’s coastline, remove as many as 30 derelict vessels and support local jobs.

The Province is launching upgrades to Emergency Support Services (ESS), including direct payment for evacuees to help meet their basic needs, including food and clothing.

Indigenous and Black women, women of colour (IBPOC) and their families will see continued assistance from the local non-profit organization Support Network for Indigenous Women and Women of Colour (SNIWWOC), due to a $50,000 grant from the Province.
