The First Nations Leadership Council (FNLC) and the Province have signed a child well-being accord that recommits how the parties work together to support First Nations children and families.

Following discussions with the board of education and local police departments, the Minister of Education and Child Care has issued an administrative directive for an updated student safety plan in School District No. 61 (Greater Victoria).

The Province has published a progress report that summarizes an effort that brought together government and technology companies to find new ways to help people, especially kids and young adults, have safe experiences online.
