People experiencing homelessness on Salt Spring Island will have year-round access to shelter and services, following funding from the Province to extend operations.

People in need of affordable rental housing in View Royal will have access to more than 150 new housing units following development of a new mixed-income housing project.

That is why the Government of Canada is renewing its commitment to local governments through the federal Gas Tax Fund and delivering much needed support for their local priorities.

The Province is providing $110 million to local governments around B.C. for services that British Columbians count on, such as investments in infrastructure, like water and sewer, and services like policing.
