BC Timber Sales and the BC Wildfire Service are planning to conduct a 50-hectare prescribed burn about 75 kilometres east of Prince George and about seven kilometres north of the Fraser River.

BC Timber Sales and the BC Wildfire Service are planning to conduct a 15-hectare prescribed burn in the Clemina Creek area, about 30 kilometres south of Valemount and about 60 kilometres north of Blue River.

Drivers are reminded that deactivation work of up to 500 kilometres of permit roads in BC Timber Sales operating areas throughout the Quesnel Natural Resource District begins Monday, July 30, 2018, weather permitting.

Beginning June 1, 2018, the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development will begin deactivating up to 500 kilometres of permit roads located in BC Timber Sales operating areas, throughout the Quesnel Natural Resource District – weather permitting.

BC Timber Sales (BCTS) forestry operations in the Snowden Forest, north of John Hart Lake, are planned to restart in spring 2018, with operational phases continuing through 2019.
