More affordable housing and improved community services will soon come to the Fifth Street corridor as a result of a new partnership.

Communities throughout the province are getting help to replace old, smoky woodstoves with cleaner technologies, so people do not have to choose between warm homes and cleaner air.

Seven new members were appointed to the board of directors for Community Living BC (CLBC), the provincial Crown corporation that supports more than 21,000 people with developmental disabilities throughout B.C.

An environmental assessment certificate has been issued to BC Hydro and Power Authority for the Revelstoke Generating Station Unit 6 project (Revelstoke 6 project), following a decision by George Heyman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy and Doug Donaldson, Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development.
