The Province, through BC Housing, is partnering with the Chalmers Foundation to finance a seniors’ rental complex in Burnaby, preserving 138 units of affordable rental housing for seniors.

N’Quatqua Nation Elders, families and members will soon have access to 10 new affordable rental homes as construction gets underway on a new housing project in N’Quatqua.

More than 250 not-for-profit organizations throughout B.C. are receiving Community Gaming Grants to support environmental conservation and public safety programs. 

Seniors and people living with disabilities will soon have access to more than 50 new affordable rental homes in Comox, with construction underway on a three-storey apartment building.

The Province and Union of BC Municipalities will work together to review the local government finance system in B.C.  to ensure that municipal governments and regional districts remain resilient in the face of economic changes.

New data released by BC Housing shows a record number of new homes registered in British Columbia in 2021.
