Students, teachers and staff at 27 schools in the Delta school district will benefit from $229,600 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Students, teachers and staff at four schools in the Langley school district will benefit from $305,146 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Students, teachers and staff at 18 schools in the Abbotsford school district will benefit from $840,000 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Students, teachers and staff at Little Mountain Elementary school in the Chilliwack school district will benefit from $187,318 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Students, teachers and staff in the Vernon school district will benefit from $117,500 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

Students, teachers and staff at École K.L.O. Middle school in the Central Okanagan school district will benefit from $436,000 in provincial School Enhancement Program funding.  

The nomination period for South Asian Canadian historic places has been extended to Nov. 30, 2016, to allow more opportunity for the public to submit nominations.
