Indigenous communities, local governments and heritage organizations in British Columbia will soon have access to funding for projects that spotlight the Province’s diverse cultural heritage.

More B.C. public sector employees will be protected when bringing forward concerns about serious wrongdoing with the expansion of the scope of the Public Interest Disclosure Act (PIDA).

Construction has started on a new housing development with 24 affordable rental homes for families and seniors with low to moderate incomes in Powell River.

Forty people in need of a safe and secure home with supports have a place to call home, with a new supportive housing building opening in Surrey.

The Province, through BC Housing, has partnered with the City of West Kelowna and Turning Points Collaborative Society to lease the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank’s West Kelowna facility for use as a temporary bridge shelter for people experiencing homelessness.
