The Alex Fraser Bridge has reopened following a closure for public safety. 

Drivers are advised that the Alex Fraser Bridge is closed for public safety reasons.

Health authorities, universities and school districts are among B.C. public-sector organizations that can access increased CleanBC electric vehicle (EV) charging rebates to make zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) the default option for B.C. public-sector fleets.

With recovery efforts still underway in communities affected by severe flooding and highways damaged by flooding and mudslides, the Province is extending the provincial state of emergency.

Highway 11, between Hazelwood Avenue and Clayburn Road, is open to commercial vehicle traffic,  supporting the movement of goods and services between the Sumas border, Abbotsford and Mission.

Drivers can expect overnight delays between Prince Rupert and Chetwynd from Dec. 9-13, 2021.
