The governments of Canada and British Columbia are investing in modern reliable water services to build healthy sustainable communities where families can thrive today and for years to come. 

Recreational cyclists, bike commuters and pedestrians who use the Galloping Goose Trail are advised that intermittent overnight trail closures may be in effect at the McKenzie interchange construction site from Tuesday, Aug. 13 through Nov. 5, 2019.

When I think about what child care means for families in B.C., I think of all the patchwork calendars stuck to fridges across the province telling the child care story of each household. The mother-in-law, the uncle and the best friend are on deck this week, and dad will have to leave work early next week. It’s a puzzle of names, dates and times that only the family can understand.

The Province has renewed its service contract with BC Ferries for the next four-year term, Performance Term 5 (PT5), which covers April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2024.

Work will soon start on a new roundabout to enhance safety and improve traffic flow at the intersection of Highway 16 and 37, replacing the four-way stop.
