B.C. government funding of $120,000 over two years will bring new life to a building that serves as a vital link between the public, Wells Grey Provincial Park and local businesses.

The public is invited to a consultation at the Oliver Community Centre on Wednesday, Dec. 12 on proposed boundary changes to Inkaneep Provincial Park.

Road improvements and safety upgrades to the Trophy Mountain Road have been completed in support of tourism priorities in the North Thompson.

Effective at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, the current campfire ban in the Vernon and Penticton fire zones will be rescinded due to a decreased risk of wildfires. Campfires will now be permitted throughout the Kamloops Fire Centre.
