With the Vancouver Canucks advancing to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, an updated schedule for the HST telephone town halls is available.

Wednesday, May 4

* 6:30 p.m. MDT (5:30 p.m. PDT) - Kootenay

* 7:00 p.m. - Burnaby, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, Coquitlam

* 7:30 p.m. - Interior and North Coast

Tuesday, May 10

* 6:30 p.m. - Okanagan

* 7:00 p.m. - Fraser valley

* 7:30 p.m. - Mid-Island, North Island and Southern Coast

Thursday, May 12

* 5:30 p.m. - Richmond, South Delta and North Shore

* 6:00 p.m. - Victoria

* 6:30 p.m. - Vancouver

Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation Pat Bell will join Minister of Finance Kevin Falcon and Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Blair Lekstrom in hosting town halls over the three days.

Tele-town halls are a unique opportunity to talk directly with the government ministers leading the HST engagement process. The town halls are designed to ensure that all British Columbians have an opportunity to offer suggestions on how the HST can be improved.
