As the above-normal snowpack continues to melt and with another rainfall warning in effect, travellers are advised that four Forest Service roads are closed due to washouts and care should be taken on others.
Johnson Creek FSR near Moberly Lake, Fisher Creek and Silver Sands FSRs west of Chetwynd, and Table Creek FSR near Hudson's Hope are all closed.
Currently there is no access to Wright Lake, Gething Creek and Carbon Lake recreation sites, as well as to Battleship Mountain hiking trail.
Travellers are advised to use caution when using back roads and be prepared for extreme conditions.
Staff from the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations will continue to monitor the conditions and will provide updates as they become known.
