Recreational users are advised that the Greer Creek Recreation site will be closed until further notice.
The Greer Creek footbridge was damaged beyond repair by this summer's high water conditions.
The Greer Creek Recreation Site access point is at the 36.5-kilometre mark on the Kluskus Forest Service Road near Vanderhoof. The recreation site is accessed by a 1.7-kilometre trail. The footbridge is approximately 1.5 kilometres from the trail head.
Ministry staff plan to replace the damaged log and plank bridge this fall.
