Visitors to Goldstream Park near Victoria are advised that parking at the day-use area will be extremely busy for the next several weeks during the annual Goldstream salmon run. Visitors are also asked to please use caution when parking outside of the designated areas.

The Goldstream Park day-use area is situated at the junction of the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) and Finlayson Arm Road.

BC Parks and the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure suggest visitors to the park plan ahead and consider carpooling or using alternative modes of transportation.

Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure signage will alert motorists to increased pedestrian traffic in the area. Goldstream Park staff will be on hand to direct traffic within the parking lot to ensure space is maximized.

Parking remains free at all provincial parks where the lots are located on BC Parks land.
