Travellers are advised the road between Wells and Likely - the Cunningham Pass (3100) Forest Service Road - will be closed at 3121 and 3126 kilometres for road repairs, from June 19 to July 3, 2012.
Staff from the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations will be conducting roadwork, including blasting, to repair damage caused from last year's high spring run-off and numerous slides.
The closures are approximately 27 kilometres southeast of Wells and the Barkerville Historic Site. Note there will be no through access between Wells and Likely during the closure period and no alternate routes are available.
The Cunningham Pass (3100) Forest Service Road is part of British Columbia's 55,000-kilometre Forest Service road network that provides access to British Columbia's backcountry.
