Those interested in learning more about the proposed Master Plan updates for the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort are invited to attend an information session.

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013

Time: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Location: Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Empress Ballroom

4599 Chateau Boulevard, Whistler

Representatives from the ministry and Whistler Blackcomb will be on hand to explain the latest proposed plans for the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort and the commitments Whistler Blackcomb has agreed to as a result of feedback received during the ministry's Master Plan review process.

The goal of the Master Plan updates is to provide a 60-year vision for the resort. The proposed phased development will enhance visitor experience by replacing and adding lifts where there is skier congestion, adding restaurants and other skier services, increasing ski terrain and increasing recreational activities available to the public.
