The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident on Jan. 6, 2013, near Wasa.

The man is Dale Andrew Davis, aged 52, from Wasa.

Mr. Davis was the sole occupant of a vehicle, travelling northbound on Highway 93/95 near Wasa, when the incident occurred.

Mr. Davis was confirmed deceased at the scene of the incident.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this incident.

The family of Mr. Davis has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
