The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident near Hope on Jan. 6, 2013.

The man is Stephen Francis Kulinski, aged 44, from Kamloops.

Mr. Kulinski and his spouse were travelling southbound on Highway 5 near Falls Lake Road when the incident occurred.

Mr. Kulinski was confirmed deceased at the scene of the incident, and his spouse was transported to Fraser Canyon Hospital for treatment.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Kulinski has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
