The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died as a result of a fatal incident at a construction site near Oliver on Jan. 10, 2013.

The man is Sheldon Skolos, aged 27, from Oliver.

Mr. Skolos had been assisting a forklift operator in transporting construction materials when the incident occurred.

Emergency personnel attended the scene of the incident and confirmed Mr. Skolos deceased.

The BC Coroners Service and WorkSafe BC continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Skolos has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
