The BC Coroners Service and Vancouver Police Department's Missing Persons Unit are pleased to announce that we have now successfully identified the woman whose body was recovered from the Burrard Inlet on Jan. 31, 2013.

Foul play has been conclusively ruled out in this matter, and no further details are being made public at this time.

The Coroners Service would like to express its sincere thanks to the many media outlets who responded to this urgent request for assistance. The photos and description can now be removed from any websites where they are still public.
