The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after being struck by a vehicle in Campbell River on Feb. 16, 2013.
He was Ernest Rueben Scow, aged 64, from Campbell River.
Mr. Scow was walking along Alder Street in Campbell River in the early evening hours of Feb. 16 when he was struck by a vehicle.
Mr. Scow was transported to Campbell River General Hospital and died shortly after arrival as a result of injuries sustained in the incident.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this incident.
The family of Mr. Scow has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
