The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a motor vehicle incident near Vernon on March 3, 2013.

He was Tyrone Nicholas Turnbull, aged 33, of Vernon.

Mr. Turnbull was the driver and sole occupant of a motor vehicle which left the road and rolled over on Old Kamloops Road on the evening of March 3.

Mr. Turnbull was taken by ambulance to hospital in Vernon. However, he died from injuries sustained in the crash shortly afterwards.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Turnbull has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
