The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a motor vehicle incident near Cache Creek on Mar. 1, 2013.

He was Allen Edward Power, aged 24, of Sorrento.

Mr. Power was the driver of a motor vehicle which was in a collision with a chartered bus on Highway 1, about 15 kilometres east of Cache Creek at about 15:30 hours on March 1. He was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Power has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
